Heritage Park has been impressed with our annual Railways Days display, and our engagement with the public, and so has invited us to set up for four weekends in a row: the last weekend in November and the first three in December.

So, I’ve bought a few Christmas-themed boxcars to run, plus I’m working on a Christmas Village that will sit atop the lake on my east module.

The scenery is more symbolic than realistic, but it should add to the Christmasy ambience. I await delivery of a set of battery powered ‘fairy lights’ to put on the big tree that will stand in front of the houses. The battery will be concealed under the big two-story house, while the other three are to be glued down permanently.
